EBS has its own set of terms and language, which I call Oracle-ese. The most commonly used terms in this text can be found here.
Accounting Flexfield The definition of the individual segments that make up an account number.
Accounting Methods Also known as Subledger Accounting, provides rules for how subledger transactions are accounted and represented in the General Ledger.
Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) A notification from a supplier containing shipping information when the product is sent out from the supplier site. Can be used to reduce receiving steps in EBS.
Attachments A feature in EBS that allows files or comments to be attached to specific documents, such as purchase orders and invoices.
