Installing Oracle R Enterprise
Oracle R Enterprise is a component of the Oracle Advanced Analytics option to the Oracle Database Enterprise Edition. Before you can use Oracle R Enterprise, you first need to complete a number of installation steps. The installation can be divided into two main parts. The first of these is the installation on the Oracle Database Server. The second part is the installation on the client machines of what will be used by the data analysts and data scientists. Additionally, this chapter looks at the various prerequisites that need to be completed before the installation can commence.
