Now that we have covered all the startup essentials, we are actually ready to use RMAN to back up something. In this chapter, we are going to talk all about doing backups with RMAN. From offline backups to online backups, backups of archived redo logs to incremental backups, we will cover it all. We will look at how to back up entire databases and individual database datafiles. So, let’s move on!
