Up until now, all of the modules discussed are separately licensed modules that have their own functionality that integrates tightly with Receivables, Payables, and Purchasing. Order Information Portal is different. While adding no additional functionality to Order Management, this portal provides internal and external users the ability to view their orders and quotes, keep track of invoices and shipments, respond to any quotes that require acceptance, report a defect on a shipment, and request an RMA. The setups are minimal, and granting access is the same as creating any user within Oracle, making this an easy module to deploy.
