It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The chapter elaborates on how MDM in conjunction with Service Oriented Architecture and the Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA) Foundation Pack (FP) delivers a solution to the data quality challenges while maintaining the benefits of SOA.
The chapter further describes how prebuilt Process Integration Packs (PIPs) available in the AIA FP can accelerate the implementation of an MDM solution and dramatically reduce the effort and risk involved in such deliveries.
