Creating ServerPools and Servers

The VM Server pool is an integral part of the Oracle VM Server farm. The server pool is the collection of servers that is used to store virtual machines. Within the server pool, virtual machines can be migrated or failed over. A server pool consists of one or more servers configured together to execute the virtual machines.

The members of the server pool can assume the role of server pool master, utility server, or Virtual Machine server. The code for each role is in every Oracle VM Agent (ovs-agent). The utility server and VM Server roles can be dynamically assigned to any member of the server pool; ...
