Oracle Metadata Services Framework (MDS) is an integral component of Oracle ADF 11g. As we saw in Chapter 14, all the declarative artifacts that exist in ADF can be customized through MDS. Since Oracle WebCenter is built on the top of ADF, it will not surprise you to learn that WebCenter relies heavily on the capabilities of MDS to support application customization and user personalization.
