I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installation Procedures
Follow these steps to install WebLogic Server using the graphical mode:
1. Double-click the executable you downloaded from the Oracle web site (wls1034_ oepe111161_win32.exe) and click Run in the Open File box. The installer starts preparing itself for the installation, a process that takes a couple of minutes.
2. Click Next in the Welcome screen.
3. In the Choose Middleware Directory, specify the directory where you want the installer to place the WebLogic Server files. Your domains will also, by default, use this directory. In our case, the directory is C:\MyOra\Middleware. Of course, if you've installed Oracle Middleware products before already, you can choose to install WebLogic Server in that directory as well. ...
