Trainers and organization development (OD) professionals have traditionally not been linked in any significant way. However, this situation is changing rapidly as more and more trainers focus on organizational performance and how the work they do contributes to the bottom line. The purpose of this Infoline is to provide a basic background in OD and to show how trainers and other workplace learning and performance (WLP) professionals can incorporate OD principles into their work.
