1.1 Introduction

The Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3^®) – Third Edition provides guidelines for improving organizational project management within organizations. It defines the OPM3 model, which is comprised of the OPM3 Construct and OPM3 framework activities and processes. This edition of OPM3 expands, reinforces, and clarifies many of the concepts presented in the previous editions.
