Step 4: Create Archive Files

You're ready to create your archives! Basically, financial archives are the documents within your Frequent Files that you need or want to keep for more than one calendar year. Whether it has been an hour or a year since you built your Frequent Files, this process is pretty simple. Archives don't need to be categorized like the rest of your files; they can simply be stored by year. I just lump everything together into one year: I would rather have to spend more time looking for something if I happen to need it later than spend extra time up-front arranging files that I will probably never need again.
