Communicate with Others

You can use OS X to communicate with other people using online and wireless technologies. For example, once you have connected your Mac to the Internet, you can start sending and receiving e-mail, using either your Internet service provider (ISP) account or a web-based account. You can also use your Internet connection to exchange instant messages and perform audio and video chats. If you have a camera attached to your Mac, you can also place video calls to other people through your wired or wireless network.
