One of the hallmarks of a traditional computer operating system is support for multiple user accounts. UNIX operating systems, like OS X, have a long history of providing such services. Apple has made many improvements to the UNIX functionality, such as advanced user-management features and streamlined administration tools, all with traditional Apple ease of use.
