This appendix contains UNIX-style manual (man) pages for the programs whose sources are included with this book. These man pages provide brief descriptions of the programs and their usage, suitable for browsing online.
The man pages included in the appendix are:
• ospfd(8). This is the Linux port of the OSPF routing software, implementing an OSPF routing daemon under Linux. This program turns a Linux workstation into an OSPF router, just as the routed program allows the workstation to participate in a RIP routing domain.
• ospfd_browser(1). This CGI application [16] allows you to monitor the ospfd routing daemon—or any of the simulated OSPF routers running in the OSPF routing simulator ospf_sim—through a Web browser. ...
