You can secure your router and secure OSPF in different ways. This case study applies many of the basic techniques discussed in this chapter as well as some of the more advanced techniques.
This case study is not meant to teach you the ins and outs of the security techniques presented here. Instead, the case study presents ways to secure your router, with brief explanations so that you can decide which commands are appropriate for your network.
