Had the opportunity to make a short trip to the Martin Wickramasinghe Museum at Galle. While plenty can be mentioned about the picturesque location of the museum on the banks of the Indian Ocean (the Koggalla reef), what is noteworthy was that it was also his residence which had been converted into a museum now. Looking at the collection of artifacts and going through his “Aspects of Sinhalese Culture” made a phenomenal revelation.
