Chapter 10. LEARNING TO BE CREATIVE

"Education is not a linear process of preparation for the future: it is about cultivating the talents and sensibilities through which we can live our best lives in the present and create the future for ourselves."

I have argued throughout this book that one of the primary reasons so many people believe they are not creative stems from education and especially the systems of mass education that have evolved since the Industrial Revolution. There is a lot that individuals and organizations can do immediately, to revive their creative capacities. But there is an urgent need too to transform education.
