You can use ODS to create complete output data sets from almost every SAS procedure. These output data sets contain virtually every bit of information that you see in the listing results. In addition, starting with SAS 9.2, you have greater control over how you select the ODS objects for output to report destinations and data sets.
This chapter provides a number of examples from different procedures to give you an overview of output data sets.
This chapter uses the data sets TRAFFIC and PRODUCT to illustrate the concepts. These data sets are available on the author pages for this book at http://support.sas.com/authors.
