As we begin this chapter in the mental routines that could make a difference in your Life GPS and mindfulness alternative, let's try a short thought experiment together. Imagine the following excerpt is your day.
You wake up at 6:17 AM after hitting the snooze button on your alarm clock only once. After taking a quick shower, dressing, and making yourself look presentable, you're in the kitchen by 6:40 for approximately 10 minutes of quiet time before your spouse and three kids enter stage right. Check that 10 minutes of quiet time because
3 minutes later, you hear an argument break out between your fifth-grade daughter and eighth-grade son over who's getting the bathroom first. You head back upstairs to referee and hear your eleventh-grade son's alarm clock blaring. You jump into his room to shake him awake and then return to the bathroom to negotiate a schedule.
