CONCLUSION

It has been a great honor for us to work with thousands of leaders on cultivating their Signature Voice. We are deeply grateful to all those who have shared their journeys with us—all of the hardworking clients whose stories went into this book. Everyone had a different story, but all shared in a struggle to understand what presence is and how to build it. Each eventually arrived at a place where they could be more authentic and connected as a leader, adapting to changing circumstances and new challenges, and ultimately, being more effective as a result of their diligence. They learned how to own the room.

As we worked on this book, the Summer Olympics were in the background. As we marveled at each of the athletes—whether competing ...
