“I will just study harder and longer next time.” What does it mean to “study harder and longer”? To do your best in learning new material, you need to adopt better study strategies that help you to be efficient and successful in your studies.

It’s the last day before winter break, and when you walk into your math class, you see “TEST TODAY” plastered in bright red marker on the whiteboard. You studied some last night but wonder if it’s enough. Chatter begins about the review problems from the back of the book, and the answers do not sound familiar at all. Your heart starts to race a bit. Thoughts start to swirl inside your brain. Maybe you don’t know the material. What if you get a bad grade?
