It is only natural, as you start thinking about your options, to want to do something you love. But what if that something is not going to be profitable? Should you do it anyway?

As you cast about for ideas for what you should do, invariably this question, put to us by one of the readers of our blog, is going to come up: “What should I do if I have to choose between love and money?”

“If you’re really passionate about what you do, but it’s not going to make you a lot of money, should you still do it?”
