So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

T his chapter covers a lot of information about how to use Painter 12, from the basics of learning the interface to more advanced sections on color management. If you are new to Painter, I recommend that you work through this chapter as this gives you some experience of the interface and key techniques. If you already know Painter you may wish to skim this section or just pick up on the newer features.
