Portraits

In this chapter a variety of brushes are used to create portraits of people of many ages.

Brush categories which I find particularly valuable for portraits are the Pastel and Chalk and there is a step by step example using the Pastel brushes which are great for making light delicate portraits.

Another traditional style of painting is Oils, where the rich textures give a much more substantial finish with some lovely brush textures.
