As you might expect, the Palm Pre isn't just a standalone pretty face. It has stuff you can use to dress it up that isn't limited to software. Palm Pre Spare Battery

If you're one of those "be prepared" types, consider investing in an extra battery for your Palm Pre — one that you can carry with you and swap in at a moment's notice, just in case your phone charge is running low, and you can't stop to charge the phone right now. If you're a very heavy user of the Pre's many features — especially Web browsing, calling, and other functions that use the wireless radio — you might find that you get as little as four hours on a single battery charge. So, for some users, a spare battery is a must.
