Adobe Photoshop is incredibly powerful image editing software that excels at a vast number of post-processing tasks, including retouching, image transformations, multi-image compositing, masking, typography, painting, vector shapes, even 3D texture mapping. A few years ago, I would have started in Adobe Bridge to organize my images, made changes to RAW files in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR), and then progressed into Photoshop to make use of its extended toolkit.
