What Do You Want Your Tombstone to Say?
So... what’s your passion? What gets you going like nothing else? How do you even define “passion”? I have posed this last question to a variety of audiences over the years, and some of the most topical responses consistently come from young urban adults enrolled in a cutting-edge nonprofit organization called YearUp. I usually try to capture their responses on large sticky pads I have been saving over time. A few selections follow:
“Something you just love to do... something that no one would have to pay you to do.”
“Something that is at your core, a part of you.”
“Passion is what keeps us going. It provides life.”
