Abstract:

This study was designed to empirically investigate two related phenomena within the context of the emerging linkage regulation model of intellectual property protection. The first was to probe the legal nexus between drug approval, drug patenting, and patent listing under the linkage regime for high-value pharmaceuticals as vetted by regulators and the market.
