Abstract:
The keyboard, screen and mouse work together to provide access to the software commands. This chapter looks at the options and shows how becoming dexterous with your hands results in efficient use of the functions. The chapter covers how to select and move pattern pieces around the screen and in relation to each other. The chapter includes an exercise that uses all of the ‘zooming and moving things around’ options using J/j, 7 and 8, Home, Current sheet, End, the Page up/Page down keys, zoom functions and marry and divorce.
