Chapter 6. Iteration 2: Packaging the Pattern

We pick up with the next iteration of the project. At this point Jordan has built and tested the Subsystem Façade pattern. This model-to-text pattern implementation includes both JET- and model-mapping-based components as well as a UML-based DSL. The pattern has been constructed and tested, and it is ready to be rolled out to the Pattern Users.

In this iteration we wrap up pattern production and transition to pattern management. The focus will be on ensuring that the Subsystem Façade pattern is consumable and accessible by Pattern Users. Jordan will package the completed pattern and then work with Sam, the asset manager, to make the pattern available in Oslec’s asset repository.
