Chapter 9. Working with Digital Video
Digital video refers to any video content that can be played directly on your PC. It could be home movies that you record yourself using a smartphone, camcorder, or digital camera or commercial releases such as motion pictures and TV show episodes. Windows 8 doesn’t offer many video-related tools, but it does enable you to import videos from your smartphone, camcorder, or digital camera, and it does let you rent or purchase movies and TV show episodes. You can then use the Video app to watch your video right on your monitor.
This chapter shows you how to import videos, buy or rent videos, and play videos on your PC.
