As you’ve seen so far, you can do plenty of things with your PC right out of the box, including managing your photos, listening to music, and watching videos. However, if you want to get the most out of your PC investment, you need to think outside the PC box and get yourself connected to the Internet.
This chapter helps you do just that by showing you how to set up a broadband Internet connection, which is a high-speed connection provided by your local cable company, a phone company (which usually calls the connection a Digital Subscriber Line), or via satellite.
