Like Windows XP, Vista has tools for both consuming and creating media. All versions of Vista come with Windows Media Player for playing audio and video; Windows Movie Maker for creating and editing video projects; and Sound Recorder, a rudimentary tool for recording audio. The Home Premium and Ultimate editions also come with Media Center, which allows you to play audio and video, display photos, and watch and record television if your PC has a TV tuner installed.
