Time for action – getting data from an XML file with information about countries
In this section, you will build an Excel file with basic information about countries. The source will be an XML file that you can download from the book's website.
- Open the
kettle.propertiesfile located in a folder named.kettleinside your home directory. If you work under Windows, that folder could beC:\Documents and Settings\<your_name>\orC:\Users\<your_name>\depending on the Windows version. - If you work under Linux (or similar) or Mac OS, the folder will most probably be
