After chatting with Austin, Dalton had 15 minutes prior to the team meeting. He needed this time to focus mentally and to home in on the rest of the afternoon. Dalton was very excited to see the team walk into the conference room a few minutes before 11:00 am. He rarely had his headphones on in the workplace but, before speaking in front of a group, he enjoyed zoning out and getting lost in the music. His playlist was an eclectic mix of many genres and eras. In the 15 minutes before class, he strolled through a little Thin Lizzy (“Cowboy Song”), Def Leppard (“High ‘n’ Dry”), Robyn (“Handle Me”), and ended with Queen (“Don't Stop Me Now”). These were a few of the songs that provided the energy, focus, and enthusiasm for the rest of the day.
