The Driving Style and the Expressive Style
WE’VE SEEN THAT the characteristics of each person’s style are determined by the degree of assertiveness and responsiveness associated with that style. But how do these combinations of assertiveness and responsiveness play out in daily life? This chapter provides a description of Drivers and Expressives—the two styles that are characterized by higher-than-average levels of assertiveness. You’ll learn about the other two styles in the next chapter.
