Configuring your Development Workstation
In Part I of this book, you will learn how to build mobile solutions using the PeopleTools development framework. You will use Application Designer and online configuration pages to construct and configure web-based applications. No other tools are required except what you installed when you implemented PeopleTools. There are, however, a few client-side development tools that help you build better solutions quicker. In this chapter, you will learn how to install and configure these development tools. Before installing new software, let’s review the various types of mobile applications.
