Set Up an Interview

As mentioned in Chapter 4, for maximum efficiency it is best to set up an interview right away during a telephone screen when you have concluded that the candidate has met the minimum requirements. You may be very excited about the candidate, especially in a tight market, and it is okay to be enthusiastic about the upcoming meeting, but you don’t want to sound desperate. Remember that time is of the essence and you want to get the candidate in for an interview as soon as possible.
