I often ask audience members how many of them should get extra points at work if they can guess what their job is. I get a laugh every time—and a roomful of hands. I also ask how many discovered what their job was at the performance review, when they were rated poorly for something they didn’t know was a part of their job. I always get hands up on that one too.
