PROJECT PLANNING

 

Project planning is the process used to develop the project plan, including managerial and technical tasks required to complete the project. It is used to document and formally approve the resources required to achieve the project objectives within project constraints, and to provide a baseline during execution for monitoring project progress and controlling variations and risks.

The project management plan is prepared by the project manager and the project team and approved by the project sponsor and/or project customer.
