Chapter 17Team Success and Achievement
A well-functioning team will create success by achieving at least some of its goals. A high-performing team can achieve all of their goals and sometimes much more. It’s important to acknowledge success and celebrate achievement in the team framework. Doing so keeps individual members engaged, adds momentum to the team’s work, and honors the value the team created. Successes should be acknowledged and celebrated at each milestone, as well as at final goal achievements (if there are any). Coaching questions can help the team members keep performing well to build on each success and look for deeper meaning in their achievements.
