Recording the Meeting
RECORDING WHAT YOU and your employee discuss and decide during the performance appraisal meeting can help you both track progress and stay focused on the agreed-upon goals. Recording can take two forms: notes that you take during or after the meeting, and a development plan that you and the employee create to guide performance improvement.
