Appendix D: Histograms Using Excel
To facilitate histogram construction, we use the Histogram program in Excel to tally frequencies, calculated percentages, and graph the relative frequencies and cumulative relative frequency. Histogram is in the Data Analysis option of Excel Tools. Before looking for Histogram, verify that Add-Ins includes the Data Analysis option. Add-Ins are also in the Tools option.
