Cultural Dimensions and Implications

Project Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness Research Program (GLOBE) was a ten-year research program headed by Bob House and colleagues (House, Hanges, Javidan, Dorfman, & Gupta, 2004). The overall goal of the project was to increase the understanding of different cultures and thereby improve cross-cultural interactions. Data were gathered across sixty-two societies reflecting the responses of over seventeen thousand managers from more than 950 different organizations around the world.
