Create Your Scorecard
In this chapter, Vince creates his initial scorecard with help from his staff. He encounters and overcomes some initial resistance and misunderstanding about his intentions and the purpose of using scorecards. Once the line managers understand the desired outcome and expectations for their involvement, they become willing participants, and initial results exceed Vince's expectations. They conclude the meeting with plans to begin using the scorecard during regular monthly performance reviews.
