The Internet has also opened countless doors and broken down barriers to access, allowing regular people to connect and share ideas with others around the world. For journalists and other creatives, the Internet has fundamentally changed the way work is done. Now that everyone with a computer or a mobile device and high-speed Internet access can publish and promote themselves online, journalists and creatives must find new ways to stand out in an increasingly crowded global marketplace.
