EVERYONE WANTS to be paid more and promoted faster. But most people hope that it happens by a process of osmosis. They actually think that their income prospects are determined by their bosses and by economic forces.
But we determine our own income by what we do and what we fail to do. We are where we are and what we are because we have decided to be there, either consciously or unconsciously. If you are not happy with your current income, go to the nearest mirror and negotiate with your boss. That is the person who determines how much you earn.
