Dress for Success

PEOPLE JUDGE you by the way you look on the outside. Ninety-five percent of the first impression that you make on other people comes from your dress and grooming. This is because your clothing and hair covers 95 percent of what other people can see.

Dress for success. Look at the top people in your organization and use them as your models. People are not comfortable working with or promoting others who are different. Emulate the best examples and the top people in your organization and your industry. If they dress in a particular style, then adopt that style. Be knowledgeable about the dress codes in your company and don’t violate them.
