Perspective Terms
Now that we know what perspective is, we need to understand the rules and how to apply them. In order to make the study more approachable, I would like to explain some of the terms that will be used. Once you become acquainted with these terms, the subject of perspective will not seem as daunting.
Subject The term “subject” refers to the object or scene we are drawing or painting—it can be one item or many. Whatever it is, we must try to present that subject as an aesthetically pleasing picture. Using perspective as an aid in deciding how to best portray the subject is very helpful.
