How to negotiate internationally

Overview

In this day and age we may need to negotiate internationally at some stage. This could be face to face, by phone, video conference, email or via the internet.

There are a number of factors we need to consider. These factors are culture, language, traditions, manners and goodwill. You have to get protocol and hierarchy right; some countries can be intolerant if you get it wrong.

However, now we negotiate in more of a global village with mass migration, but there are a number of stereotypes, so below are some guidelines.
